A Family Story
Welcome to George’s Greek Cafe—our little piece of Greece in the heart of Southern California. Since opening our first doors in Downtown Long Beach in 1999, we’ve been sharing the flavors, traditions, and heartfelt hospitality of our family with the local community.
Today, you’ll find us in Belmont Shore, a charming beachside neighborhood where small restaurants and boutique shops line the streets. It’s here that we continue to honor our heritage at our sole family-owned location, staying true to what made George’s a local favorite from the very beginning: delicious, fresh food, a welcoming atmosphere, and service that always goes the extra mile.
Our kitchen is built on the legacy of Mama Rodou’s cherished family recipes—simple, time-tested, and full of love. We use only the best ingredients, including cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil from Greece and grass-fed, hormone-free lamb sourced from New Zealand.
While our space is designed for more intimate dining experiences, we proudly offer full-service catering to bring the spirit of Greece to your home, event, or office.
